Thank you for your continuing support of the Ramspondents.
Two weeks from today, barring something truly out-of-the-ordinary happening, we should have a new mayor-elect, new representatives in Districts 3 and 5, and we’ll know whether the current District 1 representative is back for a final term or unseated in favor of one of two new candidates.
Are you ready to vote? Are you ready to rank candidates in the mayoral race? Have you read over the pros and cons of the various ballot initiatives to determine which way you’ll vote on those?
We’ve spent a lot of time asking candidates for interviews, looking for experts to weigh in on ballot initiatives, and writing our weekly afternoon newsletters to help keep you informed so you can make those all-important decisions. It’s also been an excellent reporting experience for the Ramspondents themselves, most of whom have only had a chance to vote once or twice since becoming eligible once they turned 18.
We aren’t done yet. We are still working on our last few candidate profiles and explainers on the ballot initiatives. We also want to take a deeper dive into the affordability issues that so many of our mayoral and city council candidates have talked about over the past couple of months.
For now, I’d like to invite you to check out the coverage the Ramspondents have already produced. Is there a candidate who you’re hoping to get to know better? Is there an issue that you’re still not sure about? Below is a bevy of links to everything we’ve covered so far as well as a look at the stories we are still planning. Hopefully those will help you find the information you’re looking for to fill out your ballot.
Remember to get your ballot back to the city by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4, for your vote to count.
