Lanes on College Avenue have been closed for projects involving water utilities. Starting Tuesday, Sept. 16, College Avenue had lanes closed between Mulberry Street and Laporte Avenue.

The closure is a part of the College Avenue Water System Improvement Project, which Fort Collins Utilities conducts and oversees.

The project is in an early phase. This phase involves confirming locations of underground water utilities, called “potholing.”

Maintenance crews and construction equipment will be present and working on the project between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The first phase of the project is expected to conclude the week of Monday, Sept. 29.
